Plan for electricity supply will be ready in six months

The Department of Energy will finalise its plan for South Africa’s electricity supply in six months. Bigger emphasis will be placed on alternative sources of electricity such as nuclear power, gas and other renewable sources. The Department will also table a bill in parliament to set up an independent electricity buyer and distributor.
